Stay Posted!

I'm going to clean out my closet today, and post pictures of it all once I'm done! :) So, stay posted readers!

Update: 7:55 PM HUGE pile on my floor. Not at all done. Arrrgh.

Update: Lazy Sunday has been not so lazy. This entire week, I've been planning to go through my closet, because I'm tired of having things in there that I don't wear/don't like/don't fit. Yesterday I took everything out of my closet... and then took a long break. Hahaa :)

Today I went through the HUGE pile, and only put back pieces that were season appropriate/things that fit.
I put all the clothes I didn't want anything to do with/were not spring and summer on a chair. It's this huge pile right now. What a mess. >.< onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiP5Vz-njSv-1yz5BUMfKLyxWChX-71ojazYmlnXc0cJOGTGAGdNy4zNXNGW7ZzP4ZJ43-omZu3kvEdmy3Qi0HzixLcneh13PED9ljUK31392XlIQYkjvFNUF-KRcIgw7h2EMckE4LK_9Ud/s1600-h/IMG_1913.JPG"> I also found my old prom dress in my closet. As you can tell, I don't bother to deal with it often, because it's been such a mess.

Polyvore

So I have been totally slacking. I made this set today on polyvore I love these colors. I tend to wear warm colors better, but heck what's the fun if my whole wardrobe is reds and browns? So this is a little inspiration for spring. If you've looked at my Polyvore ever, you've probably noticed that I'm a little obsessed with the light blue/teal color theme for spring.

even my nails are Tiffany blue.

So that WORLDWIDE set is how I think I could actually pull off the look. The Dress is from OldNavy. They've always been a great basics go to. Sometimes I'll find a 'special' piece there, but usually it's tshirts and cardigans. This dress is fun though! Good for a spring into summer buy.

I was hanging out with one of my favorite fashionistas, Katie Jones, the other day and she mentioned her surprise that I don't own an owl necklace. She got me to thinking, and I found this one. I like that it kinda looks pissed. Like he's totally judging you.

Also, I tried to make everything in this set pretty affordable. The shoes are the most expensive item in this set. Ringing in at nearly $100. But how cute, right?

Soon I'll post more of What I'm actually wearing, but today You can just see what I'd like to wear! As Always, Thanks for reading! Please comment and let Soozit and I know what you'd like to see in the blog. We're new to this!

May A Moody Baby Doom A Yam?

I thought today was Palindrome day, and I was SO excited. It is not Palindrome day.

Today I Wore:
Danskin Black Leotard: Walmart

Black Pencil Skirt: I found it in my mom's closet. The label has been cut off.
Cream Heels: Payless Shoes Source

Leopard Ring: Beya

Gold Bracelets: Claire's

Measuring Tape "Tie": Walmart

Gold Star Pin: Given to me by Kappa Iota :)

Today has been quite a relaxed day. I woke up midday, and then went for a walk. I didn't have anywhere to go today, except UPS, so this was for them. :)

I got the idea of using measuring tape as a tie from my dress form. I didn't want to lose the measuring tape, so I tied it around my dress for to keep it safe, and it looked a lot like a tie... so I figured, meh, why not? And so my measuring tape tie was born. This is a little on the plain side, seeing as I'm in desperate need to go thrifting, but until then, this is what you'll get and you'll like it. ;)

February is for lurverz!

Why, Hello Again! and so soon! You must be really impressed with me! (I'm talking to you, Deanie ..) So here's my spiffy outfit for today! It was inspired by some crayola crayon colors I was coloring with this morning at my Nannying job!
This outfit is colorful, but not crazy (I tend to go overboard...) And would be good for going out, unfortunately I'm not really going to. But now I know it's available!

Today I'm wearing:
Black woven Tights: Target
Denim mixed media dress: TJ MAXX
Red Cardigan: Gabriel Brothers
Pale pink slip with collar: Thrifting.
Brooch: Antiquing w. Gabriella
Bracelets: handmade (one says 'boopie' the other 'lovecats' odes to my pals Logan and Andra)
Flower Hairpin: Target
booties: uhh.. Some shop(?!?) at Polaris Fashion Mall (Columbus, OH)
Belt: Target

Hair:7 Bobbie Pins.
I think this look is pretty cute! I love this slip, I have worn it a billion times. It's a pale pale pale peachish pink. I obviously cut it so that I could pull the collar out. I need to figure out a way to finish this off better, If you have any suggestions, please let me know!

These boots are maybe 1/4 of a size too small on my feet, so when I wear them, I'm always aware that I'm wearing them. Not the most comfortable, but they're pretty cute.

This brooch has a lobster on it, I think it might be some sort of zodiac sign, but I can't find any evidence of that. The earrings I'm wearing are Tigger. I may have gotten these from my sister? I do believe they were a gift. I've had them for like... 10 years.

Anyways. Here's mine for today. I'm a little busy today, so sorry this is kind of a sloppy entry.

I'll see you soon!

lazy sunday!

Howdy Yall! I know I'm late but whatever, It's Lazy Sunday! The day Soozit and I put NO EFFORT in! YAY! I went to my cousin Mark's 28th birthday party last night and got SUPER trashed. Woke up this morning and threw up a lot. I then had to drive 2 hours home. how awful. anyways when I got home I was cold and shaky as hungover dumbbutts are prone to be. So I'm sporting some warm leggings over yellow knee length sweatpants. I've also got my purple and yellow plaid shirt I found thrifting. It's huge and warm. great for cold days!
Purple and Yellow are the colors of Soozit and my Sorority (Kappa Iota) So this outfit goes out to all the new sisters that we acquired this weekend!

Leggings
:Target
Yellow Sweatpant shorts:Target.
Plaid shirt:Sunshine thriftstore in St. Louis MI.

Here's my make up from yesterday just artistically smugged a bit more.

nothing too special for a hangover day.

Lazy Sundays!

Today I Wore:

My PJs all day! :)
Hungry monkey PJ top: Given to me years ago. The sleeves are really short, so I rolled them up. They look silly otherwise.
White tank: Old Navy
Light blue pants with pink stripes: Sears
Glasses: Forever 21
Leopard fuzzy slippers (not pictured): Present from my sorority mom, Meekin. :)

Lazy Sundays are the best. It's almost six, and I'm still in my PJs. I love that my monkey top has a little pocket. I hang my glasses on there when I'm not wearing them. And, no, they aren't prescription glasses, but so what? :)
I decided to watch "The Devil Wears Prada." It's one of the movies geared towards fashionistas that I LOVE. After Andrea's transformation, all of her outfits are chic. Words cannot explain how excited I get watching this movie. I'm also waiting in anticipation for Lady Gaga's performance at the Grammy's. AHHH!

Also, any readers see the new ASOS Curve line? What are your thoughts? I'm a little giddy looking at all the stuff, because it's decently affordable compared to some other full figured fashion lines out there. :) :)

Eat Your Heart Out. :)

Today I Wore:

Jeans: Old Navy. They were bootcut, but I sewed 'em up to make skinnies.
White tank: JCPenny's
Coral Blouse: Walmart
Jacket: JCPenny's
Owl Necklace: Forever 21
Moccasins: Payless Shoes
Hair: I may or may not have swiped Zooey Deschanel's lovely 60's hairdo.

I wore this when I went out to Golden Corral for dinner with my extended family. I wasn't really in the mood to go out, but I decided that if I was being "coerced" to go, I might as well look cute, right? In this Florida heat, I didn't wear the jacket for too long. Living in Florida is like going through menopause every day of your life. ;) I haven't worn this blouse too often, but I'm making it my mission to incorporate items I don't wear often into my life.

My look today was slightly inspired by Summer Finn in "500 Days of Summer." I've literally watched that movie at least 20 times. The other day I sat down and drew out every outfit she wore. I am hoping to either make or find similar things. Can you tell I'm slightly obsessed? Most of the clothes she wears are really shape-friendly and timeless. The costume designer, Hope Hanafin, also said a lot of it was thrifted, because she wanted the clothes to be things that Summer could really afford. That's what it's all about.

I feel obliged to mention that tomorrow is Lazy Sunday. Sunday is the day of rest, and our blog will definitely reflect that. :) Keep your eyes peeled for what Lazy Sunday has to offer! :)

Yours always,
Soozit
